The role supports clients and scheme members with complex pension queries and calculations.
The analyst will use technical knowledge to review calculations, advise on procedural and legislative changes, and support client relationships through budgeting and process improvement.
What you will be doing
- Communicate with clients and scheme members about complex queries by letter, email, and telephone.
- Process pension data, enquiries, and member or scheme events using automated and manual systems in line with scheme rules.
- Perform complex pension calculations, checking activity, and peer reviews to required accuracy standards.
- Use management information reporting to monitor work progress and handle errors, omissions, and complaints within agreed procedures.
- Monitor project income, support delivery to plan and budget, and identify and cost additional client work.
- Keep abreast of technical, procedural, and legislative developments and act on their implications.
