- Research all information pertinent to transactions or pitches including industry/sector and macro economic indicators
- Identify drivers and dynamics of the industry in question
- Understand the mandated company on operational and financial level to construct financial model
- Identify and compile information on comparable companies and prepare comparable multiples sheet
- Assist in outlining and compiling content of all presentations and documentation needed for a transaction or pitch
- Attend all relevant business meetings and take meeting minutes
- Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations
- Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training
- Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, coupled with strong knowledge in finance (preferably CFA level 1)
- 0 2 years’ experience in Corporate Finance or Research
- Strong analytical and modeling skills

- Strong writing and spreadsheet skills
- Excellent command of Arabic and English

- Able to build partnerships and work well in teams

Purpose
- Assist in executing transactions by conducting in depth research on a set of companies to make informed recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Research all information that is pertinent to transactions or pitches including the industry/sector the relevant company operates in and the macro economic indicators for the relevant countries.
- Identify the drivers and dynamics of the industry in question.
- Understand the mandated company on an operational and financial level to construct financial model that accurately captures the dynamics of the company it represents, and update the model as required.
- Identify and compile information on the comparable companies (research reports, financial statements, etc.) and prepare comparable multiples sheet (including trading multiples and precedent transaction multiples).
- Assist in outlining and compiling the content of all presentations and documentation needed for a transaction or a pitch, and develop all required presentations and documentation.
- Attend all relevant business meetings and take meeting minutes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of the role.
- Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.
- Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Business Administration Finance, Economics, Engineering, coupled with strong knowledge in finance (preferably to have completed CFA level 1).
- 0 2 years’ experience in Corporate Finance or Research.
