Role overview
CreditSights is seeking an Insurance Analyst based in its Denver office.
The role supports issuer and sector coverage within a credit research team serving institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial and industry models.
- Monitor news sources and maintain databases.
- Interpret financial statements for credit analysis.
- Contribute to fundamental analysis.
- Write earnings notes, news flow, credit event, and thematic research reports.
- Monitor bond and other capital market movements.
- Prepare client presentation materials and participate in client meetings.
- Attend issuer and industry events such as Investor Days.
Qualifications
- Have degree-level education or equivalent.
- Be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Have accounting knowledge and experience analyzing companies.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be highly organized with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail.
- Credit analysis experience is preferred.
- STEM, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business degrees are advantageous.
- Bloomberg and FactSet proficiency is advantageous.
- Financial markets interest, performance under pressure, and collaborative working are valued.
