About the Role
Tabby is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst (Defensive Security) to support security architecture, cloud security, and incident response. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates with academic projects in cybersecurity, networking, or software development.

Responsibilities
- Assist senior architects in documenting and maintaining security architecture designs
- Monitor cloud environments (GCP/AWS) for misconfigurations using CSPM tools
- Assist in integrating security tools within CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
- Support infrastructure vulnerability scanning and maintain vulnerability register
- Assist in administration and monitoring of endpoint protection solutions (AV/EDR)
- Support security awareness training and phishing simulation campaigns
- Assist in security monitoring by reviewing SIEM alerts and escalating anomalies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Recent graduates and fresh university leavers strongly encouraged to apply
- Academic projects, capstone work, or self directed labs involving networking, cloud, or application security considered favorably
- No mandatory professional experience required

Job Overview
- The Cyber Security Analyst (Defensive Security) supports the organization's security architecture and infrastructure protection functions under the close guidance of senior security architects and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior architects in documenting and maintaining security architecture designs for IT projects.
- Support the review of proposed system designs and configurations against security baselines.
- Monitor cloud environments (GCP/AWS) for misconfigurations using CSPM tools.
- Assist in integrating and operating security tools within CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning).
- Support infrastructure vulnerability scanning and maintain the vulnerability register.
- Assist in administration and monitoring of enterprise endpoint protection solutions (AV/EDR).
- Support security awareness training and phishing simulation campaigns.
- Assist in security monitoring by reviewing SIEM alerts and escalating anomalies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Recent graduates and fresh university leavers are strongly encouraged to apply; no prior professional experience is required.
- Academic projects, capstone work, or self directed labs involving networking, cloud, or application security will be considered favorably.
- Any internship, academic project, or personal lab experience related to cybersecurity, networking, or software development is a strong advantage.
