- Complex troubleshooting and problem solving of systems used by students, staff and faculty across the University
- Responds to complex technical issues
- Actively participates in the development of long term business application and enterprise (ERP) system projects

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in programming and integrating applications; preferably in a web environment
- HTML, CSS, Groovy/Java, PHP, Python, Javascript and automation scripting is required
- Knowledge of database principals and APIs
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of Oracle SQL, PLSQL, Microsoft SQL and LDAP/Active Directory
- Experience designing, building, install, configuring and supporting applications on Linux and Windows Operating Systems
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Ability to proactively provide communication and customer service to users, vendors, and other key stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Familiarity to business/enterprise applications such as Ellucian Banner, Blackboard, Infosilem and Transact is an asset
- Experience in project management is an asset

Job Summary
- The Analyst II, Systems is responsible for complex troubleshooting and problem solving of systems used by students, staff and faculty across the University.
- The incumbent responds to complex technical issues and actively participates in the development of long term business application and enterprise (ERP) system projects.

Qualifications
