Job Overview
DXC Technology is looking for an Analyst II Software Engineering to contribute to software development projects. The role involves writing, testing, and debugging code, collaborating with the team, and participating in code reviews and design discussions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
- Basic coding and debugging skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the field
Essential Job Functions
- Contribute to software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code
- Collaborate with the team to meet project objectives
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Assist in the documentation of software requirements and specifications
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Learn and adapt to software development practices and methodologies
- Contribute to the implementation of best practices and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with team members to enhance understanding of software architecture and design
