Role Overview

Support Client Services Operations through data extraction, financial analysis, valuation report updates, research, and related services.

Research and collect financial and business data from publicly available sources and Kroll proprietary files.

Summarize collected data in formats prescribed by internal Kroll business units and verify completeness and accuracy.

This is a hybrid working role based in Powai, Mumbai.

Research and Analysis

  • Research financial markets, companies, and economic trends to support investment decisions and strategic planning.
  • Analyze financial information to support commercial decisions, conduct research, and monitor financial movements.
  • Use Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Capital IQ to gather and interpret financial data and market information.

Quality and Delivery

  • Maintain at least 99% quality on processed work and complete quality-checked documents within 24–48 hours or the applicable turnaround time.
  • Meet business timeliness expectations and raise queries with team leads for quick resolution.
  • Communicate project status and deliver products and services that support stakeholder satisfaction.

Process and Team Support

  • Contribute process improvement ideas that reduce time or provide cost benefits.
  • Participate in pilot runs to determine record cycle time and report results to leads.
  • Participate in training sessions, walkthrough calls, team huddles, and change initiatives.
  • Assist with process documentation and creation of standard operating procedures and checklists.
  • Adhere to Kroll policies, procedures, and protocols.

Essential Traits and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in BAF, BFM, B.Com, BMS, BBI, BBA, or a related field.
  • MBA or MMS from an accredited college or university.
  • Between 1 and 2 years of related experience in secondary financial research.
  • Good understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts, with preferred financial reporting exposure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills described as highly desirable.
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.

Additional Qualifications

  • CA Inter completed without pursuing CA further is an added advantage.
  • CFA Level I or II clearance with progress toward the CFA charter is highly desirable.
