Role Overview
Lyft is seeking an Analyst for the Business Forecast and Planning team within Customer Care Operations.
The role owns forecasting, capacity, and scheduling models for a global support workforce.
The position works with BPO partners to translate demand signals into staffing plans across sites and geographies.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain models connecting business drivers to staffing and resourcing decisions.
- Translate complex and ambiguous data into actionable insights for leadership recommendations.
- Execute planning activities including dashboard maintenance, reporting, and business reviews.
- Use AI tools to build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analyses.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning and operating processes.
- Handle ambiguous and time-sensitive requests with modern tools.
Experience and Skills
- 2+ years of planning, forecasting, capacity or resource management, or related analytical experience.
- Consulting, investment banking, FP&A, or operations strategy backgrounds may also fit.
- Hands-on SQL and Python skills are required.
- AI fluency and comfort using AI tools for analysis and problem-solving are required.
