Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Contribute to functional testing of all calypso releases and also ensure that the regression test cases are kept updated regularly.
- Perform functional test of Calypso for patches and new functions and document test cases
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders regarding team progress, ensuring transparency and alignment with project timelines.
- Ensure the timely completion of feature testing to deliver high-quality software.
- Understand the business requirement by collaborating closely with business stakeholders and suggest test plan and delivery time lines.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, Project Managers and other business stakeholders to ensure that the test strategy and coverage aligns with the functional specifications.
- Work closely with the development lead in release planning and preparation including release documentation, change request creation and all other change management processes.
- Provide assistance to investigate and resolve issues escalated by the production support team related to Calypso configuration or functions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and take ownership of initiatives aimed at driving improvements and automating processes.
- Other tasks related to projects as directed by the manager
Requirements
- Computer Science or equivalent degree
- 3 to 6 years of comprehensive experience in software testing
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing methodologies and tools, with hands-on expertise in testing practices.
- Good hands-on experience in SQL queries and proficiency in data testing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of QA best practices.
- Very strong attention to details, can work independently
- Exposure to automation testing.
- Good communication skills in English
