Role overview
The FP&A Analyst supports analysis of organizational financial results, financial modeling, and insights into the company's financial status.
The role supports FP&A processes within Nuveen across assets under management, capital raising, revenue, and expense workstreams.
The position works under limited supervision for non-routine situations and participates in financial transaction and corporate development modeling.
Key responsibilities
- Compile financial data for quantitative analysis and recommendations to management.
- Support month-end close with recurring and ad hoc reports, ledger research, and variance analysis.
- Assist with audits, financial plans, reports, budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
- Update financial databases and prepare presentations with charts, graphs, and econometric models.
- Prepare reporting and consolidation support across FP&A workstreams.
- Build and maintain management dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
- Investigate discrepancies across systems and drive process improvements.
