Job Summary
LatentView Analytics is seeking a Data Engineering Analyst to help build and optimize modern data architecture for the investment and wealth management sector.
The role supports scalable data pipelines, enterprise data warehousing, analytics platforms, and Generative AI solutions for financial insights and workflow automation.
ELT Pipeline Support
- Assist in building and maintaining ELT pipelines using Fivetran for data ingestion.
- Use Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage to support secure movement and storage of financial datasets.
- Monitor pipeline runs and troubleshoot basic issues under senior guidance.
Snowflake and dbt Development
- Contribute to creating and maintaining data models in Snowflake.
- Use dbt for SQL transformations, documentation, and basic testing.
- Learn version control practices and collaborate on reliable data workflows.
Performance and Coding
- Support monitoring of pipeline performance and resource usage in Snowflake and Azure.
- Learn optimization techniques such as clustering and query tuning to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Write modular SQL queries, use Jinja templating in dbt, and develop Python or PySpark processing jobs.
AI and Emerging Tools
- Learn how AI and large language models can be applied in data engineering.
- Assist with experiments involving AI-driven tools for data platform operations.
- Document findings and share them with the team.
Required Skills
- The role requires 1–3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Required technical areas include Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, Generative AI, SQL, and PySpark.
- Required data visualization tools include Power BI and Power Platform.
