Salary

• The salary range for this position is CAD $35.36–$50.83 per hour.

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, workflow analysis, process mapping, and future-state design for MEDITECH Expanse initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and project stakeholders to identify needs and develop technology-enabled solutions.
• Maintain workplans, readiness trackers, activation plans, and portfolio management tools using Smartsheet and other enterprise applications.
• Develop dashboards, Power BI reports, executive reporting, and performance metrics for project progress and outcomes.
• Facilitate readiness assessments, workshops, meetings, and partner engagement sessions.
• Support deployment planning, command centre activities, at-the-elbow support coordination, stakeholder communications, and go-live support.
• Analyze project and operational data to identify trends, risks, dependencies, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support multiple digital health initiatives through planning, implementation, issue resolution, and organizational change activities.

Detailed Health Informatics Duties

• Support electronic health information access by conducting feasibility studies and determining user requirements.
• Assist with strategic planning, change management, business process improvements, and electronic health information practices.
• Analyze and diagnose health information system or business issues and support resolution through testing and system or process changes.
• Assist with service level agreements, operational issue resolution, policies, procedures, and internal or external committee work.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Health Information Systems Management or a related field plus two to four years of recent related business and systems analysis experience is required.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Experience with an electronic health information system such as MEDITECH PARIS or Intrahealth Profile is preferred.

• Knowledge of electronic health information systems and business process analysis.
• Knowledge of systems analysis, design, and development life cycle theory, concepts, and practices.
• Ability to develop innovative technology approaches and solutions for customer business needs.
• Analytical reasoning, problem solving, communication, organization, prioritization, independent work, and teamwork capabilities are required.
