Role Overview

About the Role
As a Business Systems Analyst in Health Informatics – Acute Care, you will play a key role in delivering business and systems analysis to support six specialized Cardiac Programs within Fraser Health.
You’ll contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of electronic health information systems and business practices that enhance the capture and use of clinical data.
Your work will directly support the evolution of electronic health records across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive business and systems analysis services for the Cardiology Program.
- Support the implementation and optimization of electronic clinical solutions across Cardiac Diagnostics, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab, Outpatient Services, and Cardiac Surgery.
- Participate in project implementations, system operations support, documentation, and mentoring of fellow analysts.
- Lead and support Go-Live activities for redevelopment and expansion projects at existing and new sites.
- Act as a liaison between clinical teams and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with IT best practices and change management principles.
- Translate business requirements into application specifications and design tailored system solutions.
- Integrate applications to ensure seamless functionality and enhance operational support for enterprise systems.
