Role Overview

The role delivers changes affecting the Operations team and certifies GBTO account balances for Société Générale Securities India.

The position works against objectives set by the India Head of GBTO and the relevant business line.

Production Monitoring and Operations Excellence

  • Deliver market, regulatory, and technology changes at the functional level in a fast-changing environment.
  • Maintain compliance with internal and external process guidelines, including legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement controls and technology enhancements to reduce operational risk.
  • Certify back-office system account balances monthly and yearly in coordination with Finance.
  • Participate in organizational projects, change initiatives, and client onboarding activities.

Client and Transformation Responsibilities

  • Support technology and operational changes connected with client onboarding.
  • Collaborate with business lines, regional management, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze metrics to influence efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital innovation.
  • Help the team manager deliver efficiency initiatives and strengthen operating practices.

Profile Required

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Indian financial markets, including cash equity, futures and options, or commodities.
  • Knowledge of capital markets, regulatory requirements, compliance, and clearing and settlement systems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal partners and external client groups.
  • Successful customer service track record and people management skills.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proactive, motivated, self-starting, and results-oriented approach.
  • Risk- and control-oriented mindset with collaborative skills and empathy.
  • English language skills are required.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Python knowledge is preferred.
