The role offers the candidate a true engineering challenge in their core discipline(s), whilst providing scope for personal growth and development in other areas of electronics.
Working within design support is a highly rewarding role as you not only see designs coming to life in the manufacturing environment but you can help to shape the design of these products to deliver support to our customers.
You’ll need to demonstrate a number of the following attributes:
· Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing product/systems and/or providing support to designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.
· Proven experience in the design of the following disciplines:-
· Analogue and Digital Electronics
· Investigative skills to be able to find Root Causes of design related issues and propose robust corrective actions.
· Someone who will be prepared to work autonomously if needed, lead the delivery of your work assignments, and actively engage with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of your outputs.
· Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the capability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.
· Experience in a manufacturing environment and supporting and resolving manufacturing issues and a view to implement Design for Manufacture improvements into the design.
