Role Overview
The Cloud Solutions Engineer supports the Oracle Alloy partner ecosystem across partner enablement, opportunity qualification, solution design, customer onboarding, and cloud adoption.
The role works with distributor and reseller partners that build and sell branded cloud platforms on Alloy.
Success is measured through partner sales velocity, technical win rate, asset reuse, onboarding quality, adoption health, and expansion revenue.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and deliver technical enablement programs, certifications, playbooks, demonstrations, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept environments.
- Qualify opportunities by assessing workload fit, licensing, regulatory and data-residency needs, infrastructure readiness, feasibility, risks, effort, and margin impact.
- Develop reference architectures, solution briefs, ROI/TCO calculators, demo scripts, competitive positioning, and other partner-facing assets.
- Design right-sized solutions and architectures covering compute, storage, networking, security, identity, resiliency, and cost optimization.
- Review partner architectures against Oracle Cloud best practices and Well-Architected principles.
- Guide provisioning, configuration, go-live, adoption milestones, optimization, and resolution of technical blockers for Alloy customers.
- Create technical content, support production deployments and customer training, identify product gaps, and influence engineering roadmaps.
