The AI Workflow Engineering Architect will design and guide intelligent workflows connecting AI capabilities with applications, data, business processes and human decision-making.
The role is part-time and fully remote, with responsibility from concept through optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architectures for AI-powered business workflows and automation.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical workflow solutions.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, orchestration and intelligent decision-making.
- Design integrations between AI services, business applications, APIs, databases and internal systems.
- Establish patterns for data processing, task routing, human review and exception handling.
- Guide engineering teams in implementing reliable and maintainable AI workflow solutions.
- Evaluate workflow performance, accuracy, reliability, scalability and operational impact.
- Develop standards for monitoring, testing, versioning, governance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, security, data and operations teams on AI initiatives.
- Present architecture recommendations, technical risks and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, workflow automation, AI engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of AI-enabled application architecture and business process automation.
- Knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, databases, cloud environments and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with large language models, AI agents, prompt orchestration and intelligent workflow design.
- Strong understanding of reliability, security, observability, testing and data-management principles.
- Excellent technical communication, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while leading technical collaboration across remote teams.

- Location: United Arab Emirates, with a fully remote work arrangement.
- Employment type: Part-time.
