- Deliver classroom and practical instruction on AS550 aircraft maintenance
- Train maintenance personnel on airframe, powerplant, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Conduct hands on maintenance demonstrations and laboratory instruction
- Evaluate student performance through written, oral, and practical assessments
- Develop and update lesson plans, training materials, and instructional aids
- Ensure all training complies with military, manufacturer, and regulatory standards
- Mentor maintenance personnel while promoting safe maintenance practices
- Maintain accurate student records, evaluations, and training documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching aviation maintenance or other technical maintenance curriculum
- Instructional experience with an aircraft, engine, or major component manufacturer, or within a military or civilian aircraft maintenance organization
- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or EASA/ICAO B1 Aircraft Maintenance License
- Hands on maintenance experience supporting AS550 aircraft
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance principles, technical publications, and maintenance procedures

Position Summary
- The Airframe & Powerplant Instructor (AS550) is responsible for developing and delivering classroom and hands on technical instruction covering aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, inspections, and safety practices.
- The instructor will ensure all training is conducted in accordance with military, regulatory, and manufacturer standards while supporting the organization's aircraft maintenance readiness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching aviation maintenance or other technical maintenance curriculum
- Instructional experience with an aircraft, engine, or major component manufacturer, or within a military or civilian aircraft maintenance organization
- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or EASA/ICAO B1 Aircraft Maintenance License
- Hands on maintenance experience supporting AS550 aircraft
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance principles, technical publications, and maintenance procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or a related aviation discipline
- Instructional Techniques or Train the Trainer certification
- Civilian or military instructor certification or formal instructional qualification
- Experience developing technical training materials and maintenance curriculum
- Military aviation maintenance experience

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive tax free salary of AED 40,000 per month (approximately USD $10,890 per month)
