Role overview
AZM is hiring an Aircraft & UAV Design Engineer for its founding aerospace engineering team in Riyadh.
The role covers end-to-end development of aircraft and UAV platforms from concept to testable prototype.
The work spans aerospace, autonomy, robotics, and advanced engineering systems.
Engineering work
- Perform aircraft and UAV conceptual design.
- Work with fixed-wing, VTOL, and hybrid configurations.
- Create 3D CAD models and detailed mechanical designs.
- Conduct aerodynamic and performance analysis.
- Perform mass, geometry, and configuration trade studies.
- Develop prototypes and iterate designs.
- Integrate propulsion, avionics, and control systems.
- Prepare engineering documentation and participate in design reviews.
- Support ground and flight-test activities.
Candidate background
- Experience with real aircraft, UAV, UAS, VTOL, eVTOL, experimental aircraft, or advanced aerospace prototypes is particularly valued.
- Strong candidates may have aerospace, aeronautical, or mechanical engineering backgrounds.
- Candidates should be comfortable working across disciplines.
