Role Overview
The Aircraft Material Handler reports to the Manager, Network Warehouse Operations.
The role handles and issues aircraft material, maintains accurate inventory records, and performs shipping and receiving functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process aircraft parts and tool transactions in AMOS.
- Pick and issue parts for overnight maintenance work packs.
- Correct discrepancies involving unserviceable material with Technical Records.
- Ship aircraft material domestically and internationally, including dangerous goods.
- Coordinate urgent AOG shipments to network outstations.
- Manage Company Material shipments to and from outstations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and pallet trucks.
- Arrange courier pickups and deliveries, including after hours.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and receive urgent AOG material in AMOS.
- Deliver aircraft material to maintenance offices and aircraft at the gate.
- Work with receiving, tooling, and logistics staff to support Stores operations.
- Participate in the Safety Management System and report hazards and incidents.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Google or Microsoft Office Suite, including Gmail, Word, and Excel.
