Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, workshop, and practical training for CAT A1/A2 and EASA B1/B2 AMEL programs in line with CAR/PART 147 and CAR/PART 66 requirements
- Prepare, update, and deliver theoretical lectures, lesson plans, training notes, practical tasks, assessments, and learning materials
- Teach relevant aviation maintenance modules covering airframe, powerplant, electrical, avionics, maintenance practices, human factors, and aviation legislation
- Conduct practical demonstrations and supervise student practical work in workshop, hangar, or training environments
- Support student progress through coaching, feedback, mentoring, and remedial training where required
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance, assessment evidence, and instructor competency documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related discipline, or valid AMEL license CAT A1/A2 or B1/B2
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or instructional experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, aerospace, or related technical training
- Minimum 2 years of field experience in aircraft maintenance, avionics, MRO, airline maintenance, CAR 145/Part 145, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of CAR 147, CAR 66, and aviation maintenance training requirements
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to develop training materials and use Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and passionate Aviation Maintenance Instructor to join Vision Concept Aviation Training Institute.
- The successful candidate will deliver high quality theoretical and practical training for aircraft maintenance students in CAT A1/A2 and B1/B2.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, workshop, and practical training for CAT A1/A2 and EASA B1/B2 AMEL programs in line with CAR/PART 147 and CAR/PART 66 requirements.
- Prepare, update, and deliver theoretical lectures, lesson plans, training notes, practical tasks, assessments, and learning materials.
- Teach relevant aviation maintenance modules covering airframe, powerplant, electrical, avionics, maintenance practices, human factors, and aviation legislation.

- Assist with examination preparation, question bank review, assessment activities, and compliance documentation.

- Support audits, internal reviews, quality assurance activities, and continuous improvement of the training program.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related discipline, or valid AMEL license CAT A1/A2 or B1/B2.
- Strong understanding of CAR 147, CAR 66, and aviation maintenance training requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or instructional experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, aerospace, or related technical training environment.
- Minimum 2 years of field experience in aircraft maintenance, avionics, MRO, airline maintenance, CAR 145/Part 145, or equivalent.
- Previous instructional, training, examiner, assessor, or mentoring experience is highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, troubleshooting, documentation, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to develop training materials and use Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching basic aircraft maintenance modules for CAT A, B1, or B2 students.
- Knowledge of GCAA, EASA, or equivalent aviation regulatory frameworks.
- Instructional techniques or train the trainer certification.
- Experience preparing students for aircraft maintenance licensing examinations.
- Ability to work in a multicultural training environment and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
