Air Logistics Healthcare Operational Care Specialist

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. As an Air Freight Export Specialist, you will be responsible for managing shipments end-to-end, working closely with internal teams, customers, carriers and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution.

Manage end-to-end Air Freight Export shipments, including planning, execution, documentation and operational coordination.

Ensure high-quality shipment management and deliver excellent customer experiences.

Coordinate with Customer Care Locations (CCL), Revenue Care Centres (RCC), Sales, Systems & Process teams and other stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with airline carriers and suppliers.

Coordinate with carriers and other partners to ensure smooth shipment execution and timely movement.

Support pricing and quotation preparation where required.

Ensure relevant operational information and knowledge is effectively shared across teams.

Identify and drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity, cost effectiveness and service quality.

Support preparation for and participation in internal and external audits, including requirements related to KN PharmaChain certification.

Ensure adherence to business processes, customer requirements and applicable customs procedures.

Contribute towards achieving financial targets and strategic business objectives.

3–5 years of relevant experience in Air Freight Export operations or a similar role.

Strong end-to-end Air Freight operational knowledge.

Good understanding of:

Airline/carrier operations and contacts

Shipment planning and execution

Export documentation

Customs processes

Healthcare & Pharmaceutical logistics

Strong understanding of business processes and operational workflows.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong sense of ownership, accountability and attention to detail.

DG Certification would be an added advantage.

Category 6 certification / knowledge in Healthcare & Pharma is preferred.

Experience within Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Aid & Relief logistics will be highly valued.
