Role Overview
The employer is hiring an experienced Air Freight Operations Executive.
The role requires at least three years of air freight experience in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle air freight import and export shipments from booking to final delivery.
- Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, customers, transporters, and customs-clearance teams.
- Prepare and verify AWBs, shipping documents, pre-alerts, and delivery bookings.
- Obtain competitive air freight rates and confirm airline space.
- Track shipments and provide customers with daily status updates.
- Handle lithium-battery cargo, including UN3481 PI967 Section II shipments.
- Maintain shipment records, book costs, and follow up on pending operational matters.
- Resolve delays and operational issues promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of air freight experience in the UAE.
- Good knowledge of UAE air cargo operations, airlines, customs procedures, and documentation.
- Experience with import, export, transit, and door-to-door shipments.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates must currently be available in the UAE.
- Immediate joiners or candidates available within a short timeframe are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 5,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
