Associate Program

TD's Associate Program provides new graduates with challenging projects, coaching, mentorship, and exposure to business areas within the Analytics, Insights and AI team.

Associates are full-time employees in an 18-month rotational program consisting of two nine-month rotations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced machine learning methods to conduct data-driven research and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify process optimization opportunities and build innovative solutions.
  • Prepare structured and unstructured data through integration, cleaning, feature engineering, scaling, and transformation.
  • Build production-scale solutions and integrate them into business operations with deployment teams.
  • Use visualization methods to communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate between May 2025 and December 2026 with a graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong statistical and analytical skills and experience analyzing large data sets.
  • Have experience in one or more big data, machine learning, software engineering, or analytics areas.
  • Have technical knowledge and experience with one or more of Python, R, Spark, SQL, SAS, Java, or C/C++.
  • Demonstrate initiative, prioritization, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Work effectively as part of a team with targeted deliverables and remain current with emerging data science trends.
