Responsibilities
- Interpret data, produce insights, create visualization reports, and recommend actions on complex business issues.
- Query, clean, and prepare datasets with Python and SQL for analysis and modeling.
- Perform feature engineering and analyze large spatially enabled datasets.
- Support development, testing, and deployment of forecasting, optimization, classification, or regression models.
- Identify data-driven business opportunities, develop solution proposals, and support analytics business cases.
- Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate with business partners.
Job Requirements
- Be enrolled in a recognized graduate degree in a relevant technical, analytical, business, or related field.
- Intend to return to school at the start of the work term.
- Have strong statistical and analytical skills.
- Have strong proficiency in Python, SQL, or another data-related programming language.
- Have strong proficiency in object-oriented programming.
- Know spatially enabled data and geospatial processing tools or platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure, R, AWS, Databricks, or GitHub is a plus.
- Have excellent communication skills and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
