About the Role
BoomerangFX is seeking an AI Tech Lead to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI solutions for healthcare practice management. This hands-on role involves leading an AI engineering team, building LLM-based applications, and working with Azure cloud technologies.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions
- Develop production grade applications utilizing LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and intelligent automation
- Architect and implement enterprise AI solutions that solve real business challenges
- Create scalable and maintainable AI workflows and services
- Build and optimize solutions leveraging OpenAI, Anthropic, and Azure OpenAI
- Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks
- Develop conversational AI, chatbot, and AI agent solutions
- Deploy AI applications within Microsoft Azure environments
- Work with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and related Azure technologies
- Partner with cross functional teams to identify AI opportunities and define solution strategies
- Translate business requirements into technical AI solutions
- Present recommendations, prototypes, and solution designs to stakeholders
Requirements
- 8 10 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Development, or AI Consulting
- Minimum 5 years of hands on Python development experience
- Minimum 3 years building production grade Generative AI, NLP, chatbot, or LLM based applications
- Strong hands on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, AI agents, and workflow automation
- Experience deploying and scaling AI solutions within Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services
- Experience taking AI solutions from proof of concept to production
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field

- We are looking for an AI Tech Lead who can turn large language models into reliable, compliant, production grade healthcare software while leading and mentoring a high performing AI engineering team.

What You Bring

Salary Range & Equity
- CAD 80,000 CAD 90,000 + 10% Bonus.
- Eligible to participate in BoomerangFX Stock Option Plan after 6 months.

- This is a 5 day on site role based in Mississauga, Ontario.
