A Toronto-based organization is investing significantly in AI and seeks an architect who can bridge AI architecture, engineering, data, cloud, and business needs.
The role is responsible for architecting, integrating, deploying, and scaling production-grade AI systems rather than creating only proof-of-concept demonstrations.
What you will do
- Architect end-to-end generative AI and LLM-powered solutions from proof of concept through production.
- Design RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, model orchestration, and enterprise AI integrations.
- Build architectures across LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Define model evaluation, observability, security, governance, and guardrail approaches.
- Make architectural decisions about latency, scalability, reliability, cost, and model performance.
- Work with engineering, data, cloud, product, and business teams to deliver production AI systems.
Required experience
- Experience delivering LLM or generative AI systems into production rather than only prototypes.
- Strong experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, agents, prompt or model orchestration, and AI APIs.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as APIs, data architecture, distributed systems, and modern software architecture.
