AI Solution Architect (Forward Deployed, Management Consulting)

The successful candidate will be expected to engage directly in client discussions when needed and support hands-on work across solution framing, proposals, mock-ups, requirements shaping, and execution support.

• This role is a core position within our AI & Digital Transformation business in Asia, based in Singapore. We are looking for someone who can go beyond technology implementation and help clients define how their business should change, what is preventing that change today, and how AI and digital solutions can make that transformation a reality.
• The role starts from understanding management and operational issues, not from pushing a technology agenda. The successful candidate will be expected to identify the client’s target operating model, clarify the bottlenecks that stand in the way, and structure root causes across people, processes, data, systems, organization, and governance. Based on that, the candidate will design realistic transformation scenarios and propose practical ways to enable them.
• A key expectation of this role is the ability to use emerging technologies, including Agentic AI, to move discussions forward quickly. This includes translating ideas into visible and discussable forms such as screen-level business images, simple mock-ups, future-state process flows, and decision-making concepts. Figma-level business screen design is expected and the ability to create lightweight mock-ups using tools such as Claude Code is strongly valued.
• The scope of the role covers a broad range of business domains, including management, supply chain (SCM), CRM, and service. The candidate will work closely with consultants across Asia, internal Centers of Excellence, and technology partners to support opportunity creation, proposal development, solution design, and execution support. In addition to shaping client-specific solutions, this role is also expected to help create new solution offerings by combining the latest technologies with our consulting capabilities.

• Project managers and members across our Asia offices, including Singapore, China, Thailand, India, and the Philippines as well as our internal functional CoE, ERP CoE, AI CoE, and delivery teams, our AI partners and solution implementation partners.
• While local offices lead client-facing relationships in each country, this role serves as a regional functional and solution expert who helps move opportunities and projects forward.

• Drive opportunity creations and proposal developments for AI & Digital Transformation initiatives across Asia
• Engage with clients to understand management, business, and operational challenges, and identify the real transformation themes behind surface-level requests
• Define target-state business, decision-making, and operating models based on client issues rather than technology-first thinking
• Identify the bottlenecks that prevent the target state from being realized, and structure root causes across people, processes, data, systems, organization, rules, and governance
• Define the key enablers required to realize transformation and translate them into actionable solution approaches
• Design concrete business transformation use-cases by leveraging Agentic AI and other digital solutions
• Turn transformation concepts into visible outputs that clients can react to, including Figma-level business screen images and lightweight mock-ups created with tools such as Claude Code
• Where relevant, develop and present simple demos or prototype-level views that illustrate agent behavior and new ways of working
• Understand the functional capabilities, prerequisites, constraints, and integration considerations of different solutions, and design realistic implementation scenarios for clients
• Support solution implementation readiness by shaping business requirements, assessing requirement coverage, reviewing proposals from SIers and implementation partners, and clarifying test perspectives to improve execution quality
• Work closely with consultants across Asia to support proposals, opportunity development, PoCs, solution design, and implementation initiatives

How you stand out:

• Experience in a consulting firm and/or IT vendor and/or SIer environment
• Practical experience in one or more of the following areas; business transformation, operational transformation, DX, AI/IT implementation, or business process improvement
• Knowledge in one or more business domains such as management, supply chain, CRM, or service
• Experience in AI or digital solution design, PoC development, or implementation support
• Experience using no-code/low-code, workflow, or prototyping tools for business design and mock-up creation
• Ability to quickly create Figma-level business screen images and use them to move client discussions forward
• Practical ability to use AI tools such as Claude Code to create lightweight mock-ups or prototypes
• Ability to identify the underlying management and business issues behind client requests and define a realistic future-state vision
• Ability to structure problems and identify bottlenecks and root causes across people, processes, data, systems, and organization
• Understanding of business requirements, solution feasibility, proposal review, requirement coverage, and testing perspectives in solution implementation
• Open to necessary business trips within Asian countries
