aiqon is hiring AI and Software Engineering Interns for a paid six-month internship.
Interns work on real-world production software and client problems with the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features on real-world systems for industry clients.
- Contribute to AI-powered features such as LLM integrations, retrieval pipelines, and reliability tooling.
- Write clear, maintainable code with tests, participate in code review, and iterate based on feedback.
- Debug issues end to end from the user interface to the API and data layers.
- Collaborate with product and client stakeholders to turn operational needs into working software.
- Improve developer experience through scripts, documentation, types, and small infrastructure fixes.
Requirements
- Recently completed or is about to complete a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI/ML, software engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript or JavaScript are required.
- Candidates should be comfortable with Git, HTTP, REST, HTML/CSS, and at least one modern framework or Python web stack.
- Candidates should have genuine interest in AI/ML and software engineering and should have built projects of their own.
- A GitHub profile, portfolio, or LinkedIn profile should show work the candidate has built.
- Clear written communication in English is required.
- Candidates must be willing to work overlapping hours with US and Australian time zones.
- Candidates must be available for a paid six-month internship.
Technical Stack
- Depending on the project, interns may work on product features, APIs, data pipelines, or AI-powered tools.
- Examples of frameworks and technologies include React, Node, and Python web stacks.
Working Hours
- The role requires overlap with US and Australian time zones.
Work Arrangement
- The internship is available in hybrid, remote, or onsite mode in Hyderabad.
