AI Software Engineer (Azure AI, Java/Angular Full-Stack)

Job Summary

Principal Responsibilities

• Develop AI models and algorithms using Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Perform application analysis, design, development, and testing while using Azure AI for model endpoints and LLM workflows.
• Build and tune production RAG pipelines and develop semi-autonomous agentic workflows.
• Integrate Azure AI and LLM workflows with Angular front ends and Java/Spring Boot back ends.
• Support change readiness initiatives and other assigned duties.

Experience and Education

• Typically requires eight or more years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience providing comparable knowledge and job skills.
• Work is performed independently with considerable latitude and requires judgment on complex technical problems.

Technical Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry or Azure AI Studio, foundation models, prompt flows, and vector search.
• Full-stack development experience using Angular or similar technologies and Java.
• Experience with Java, Python, Spring or Spring Boot, web services, SQL, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/Sass, and Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of document chunking, embeddings, vector stores, agent frameworks, and semantic orchestration patterns.
• Experience with JUnit, LLM evaluation, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol is preferred, and Databricks familiarity is a plus.
