BDO Canada is seeking a hands-on AI Scientist & Engineer for its Assurance Innovation Lab.
The role bridges advanced data science, experimental machine learning, and scalable enterprise software engineering.
The position supports modern applications, intelligent workflows, integrations, and AI-enabled platforms for Assurance transformation.
The role reports to the Head of ASR Transformation and has a dotted line to managers in the AI Studio – Central Lab.
Workplace and Collaboration
- This is a hybrid role involving collaboration with AI architects, ML engineers, data scientists, full-stack developers, business practitioners, and citizen developers.
- The role works across Innovation Operations, AI Studio, the Central Data Team, and Innovation & Change.
AI and Machine Learning
- Design, build, train, and optimize machine learning and AI models for Assurance transformation initiatives.
- Develop solutions using NLP, generative AI, knowledge graphs, predictive analytics, and automation.
- Evaluate model performance, explainability, reliability, and responsible AI considerations.
