Role Description
- The Owner role is a full time, on site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom.
- This role is responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction and performance of the House and associated venues.
- Ensuring that member experience, service standards, and brand values are consistently delivered.
- Day to day tasks include guiding senior leadership teams, reviewing financial performance, approving key operational and investment decisions, and aligning long term plans with Soho House & Co's global vision.
- The Owner will collaborate closely with management to maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment for members and staff, champion new initiatives, and uphold regulatory and compliance requirements across all operations.
- The role also requires active engagement with key stakeholders, including members, partners, and local communities, to support sustainable growth and brand reputation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior leadership or ownership within hospitality, lifestyle, or related industries, with a strong focus on member or guest experience.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, business development, and financial management, including understanding of budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Strong people leadership skills, including team building, coaching, performance management, and fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders in diverse creative communities.
- Knowledge of operational best practices in multi site venues such as clubs, restaurants, hotels, or entertainment spaces, including compliance and health and safety standards.
- Capability to make informed decisions under pressure, manage risk, and adapt quickly in a fast paced, evolving environment.
- Experience in the London hospitality or creative scene is highly beneficial; prior international experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in ownership or executive roles.
