About the Role
The AI Product Engineer Intern will work hands-on with the product development team to build and enhance an AI-powered product.
The role covers application development, AI capability integration, feature improvement, and production-readiness work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance AI-powered product features.
- Build RAG-based AI workflows and integrations.
- Develop frontend and backend functionality with Next.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
- Work with PostgreSQL for application and AI-related data workflows.
- Integrate LLMs, embeddings, vector search, and other AI components.
- Develop APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Debug, test, and optimize existing features.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams, participate in code reviews, and research relevant AI technologies.
Required Skills
- Practical project experience in at least one RAG-based AI project is required.
- Knowledge of Next.js, TypeScript or JavaScript, and PostgreSQL is required.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, RAG, and LLM API integration is required.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, independent working, and learning abilities are required.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, AI/ML, software engineering, or a related field is required.
- Final-year students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- No prior professional experience is required, but candidates should demonstrate working projects.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with major LLM APIs, vector databases, REST APIs, Git/GitHub, cloud platforms, or Python is advantageous.
- A GitHub repository, portfolio, RAG project, AI application, or working prototype is highly valued.
Workplace
- The role is based in a remote working environment.
