gStride AI is hiring a Senior AI Product Engineer for a four-person AI-first product team.
The engineer will own vertical-slice productivity intelligence features from data pipeline through model, API, and product surface.
The role is full-time and available in Ahmedabad or remotely within India.
What you will do
- Ship end-to-end AI features in one- to three-week vertical slices.
- Wire LLM-augmented workflows for scoring, recommendation generation, and anomaly detection.
- Build reproducible audit trails and explainability and rule-trace capabilities for AI scores.
- Own ML evaluation pipelines with labeling, agreement measurement, A/B testing, and regression gates.
- Co-design the four-layer architecture and integrations with the AI Product Lead.
- Ship frequently, collaborate directly with the founder, and dogfood the product internally.
What we expect
- 4–7 years of software engineering experience with Python, TypeScript, or Node.js as a primary stack.
- At least one production AI or ML feature shipped end-to-end.
- Strong SQL, system design, API design, and data modeling fundamentals.
- Production fluency with prompt engineering, RAG, agent workflows, and evaluation.
- Comfort with Azure Static Web Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure AI services.
- Privacy-first and anti-surveillance values alignment, near-native English, and strong written communication.
- Hindi or Gujarati language ability is a bonus.
Technology stack
- Frontend uses Vue 3 and Azure Static Web Apps.
- Backend uses Node.js Azure Functions, with Python ML services planned.
- Data systems include PostgreSQL, Redis, and an HNSW vector index through AgentDB.
- AI systems include Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and Azure OpenAI.
- Tooling includes Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot; observability includes GA4, Microsoft Clarity, and a custom event log.
Compensation and benefits
- Compensation is INR 25–50L base salary plus an ESOP grant, with the final offer indexed to seniority and last compensation.
- Benefits include health insurance, direct founder access, product ownership, and a conference and learning budget of INR 50K per year.
Work arrangement
- The role offers an Ahmedabad office option or remote-flexible work within India.
