Summary
The role has a 12-month duration and uses a hybrid work mode in Montreal.
The engineer will build an enterprise AI development, evaluation, assurance, and governance platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a firmwide platform for GenAI benchmarking, assurance, and governance.
- Develop self-service tooling, SDKs, and APIs for building, evaluating, and deploying GenAI applications.
- Build reusable components for GenAI and agentic systems, including orchestration, evaluation, and model lifecycle workflows.
- Implement container-native workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift using GitOps deployment patterns.
- Integrate and operate LLMs, vector databases, embeddings, and agent frameworks.
- Make architecture and design decisions for security, authentication, observability, scalability, and reliability.
- Establish best practices for GenAI evaluations, agentic systems, ModelOps, LLMOps, and production operations.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, security, and product teams on enterprise GenAI adoption.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably with Python and large-scale cloud-native platforms.
- Deep Kubernetes and OpenShift experience using Helm, Kustomize, container registries, and GitOps.
- Minimum 3 years building GenAI and LLM applications involving agentic orchestration, embeddings, evaluation workflows, and fine-tuning.
