Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you're going to need…
Commercial experience in software engineering or another technical role - however you arrived there, and whatever you did before that.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Gemini and Cursor, plus a working understanding of agentic workflows and concepts like MCP.
Confidence in at least one modern programming language - Python or JavaScript.
A portfolio, open-source contribution or project you can walk us through. We care more about what you have built than where you built it.
Fluency in English. Why? English is our company language and is used for any business-wide communications, so we need you to be able to speak English to feel like an integrated part of Booksy.

Open-source contributions with a visible history we can look at.
Something you have built with agentic frameworks or MCP that went beyond following a tutorial.
Exposure to Google Cloud.
