Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to map out and break into net new enterprise accounts, sovereign GPU clouds, and HPC clusters
- Design high performance, multi tenant data pipelines and full stack environments for GPU fabrics
- Lead deep dive architectural workshops with customer GPU cluster architects and translate concepts for C level executives
- Own complex, multi rack benchmarks, system configurations, and Proof of Value exercises
- Guide customers from initial deployments through long term scaling strategy
- Collaborate with strategic alliance partners (e.g., NVIDIA, Cisco, Dell) to integrate storage into customer chip allocations
Requirements
- Full stack AI/HPC understanding with direct experience working alongside GPU cluster architects
- Mastery of high performance file systems, distributed storage architectures, and orchestration tools (Slurm or Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of AI pipeline data flow from ingestion to inference
- Proven track record of targeting and converting cold prospects into major clients
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent deep field experience in distributed computing/HPC

The Role
- Powering the METCA AI & Sovereign Cloud Revolution as a Pre Sales Systems Engineer.
- Target the largest AI infrastructure projects in the market, displacing legacy architectures.
What You'll Do
- Execute High Impact Hunting: Partner with Account Executives to actively map out and break into net new enterprise accounts, sovereign GPU clouds, and HPC clusters.
- Architect the AI Factory: Design high performance, multi tenant data pipelines and full stack environments for GPU fabrics.
- Drive Technical Consensus: Lead deep dive architectural workshops with customer GPU cluster architects while translating complex concepts for C level executives.
- Own the Technical Win: Take absolute control of complex, multi rack benchmarks, system configurations, and Proof of Value exercises.
- Map the Infrastructure Roadmap: Guide customers from initial multi petabyte deployments through a long term scaling strategy.
- Leverage the Partner Ecosystem: Collaborate with strategic alliance partners (e.g., NVIDIA, Cisco, Dell) to ensure integration.
What You'll Bring
- Full Stack AI/HPC Understanding: Direct experience working alongside GPU cluster architects; understanding of NVIDIA DGX, InfiniBand, high speed Ethernet, cluster cabling.
- Modern Data & Software Fluency: Mastery of high performance file systems, distributed storage architectures, multi tenancy, orchestration tools (Slurm or Kubernetes).
- AI Pipeline Competency: Deep understanding of data flow from raw ingestion to inference, including RAG deployments.
- Ecosystem Background: Background selling or architecting infrastructure from scale out storage, NAS, or AI cloud providers.
- Hunting Instincts: Proven track record of converting cold prospects into major clients.
- Advanced Storytelling & Business Acumen: Ability to frame complex supercomputing concepts simply.
- Benchmark & RFP Dominance: Experience using benchmarks to dismantle competitor claims.
- Agility and Speed: Rapid ramp up on next generation engineering rollouts.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent deep field experience.
