Role Overview
The Canada IT Platforms and Engineering Domain is seeking an AI Engineer with 3+ years of development experience.
The role focuses on GenAI innovation, cloud capabilities, scalable solutions, and advanced AI technology for insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Enterprise Architect on solutions aligned with the platform capabilities roadmap.
- Research and pilot the latest GenAI technologies and practices.
- Develop and deploy scalable AI solutions and automation workflows for high-impact business use cases.
- Create and maintain technical design artifacts covering applications, data models, interfaces, and integrations.
- Enhance DevOps practices and tools to improve automation, software guardrails, cost, and risk.
- Stay current with cloud technologies, AWS services, and AI/ML.
- Support deployed applications through troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of development experience.
- Practical experience with Python, AWS Lambda, Java, and APIs.
- Experience developing AI bots or agents.
- Familiarity with chatbot development, RAG techniques, and vector databases.
