- Optimise inference latency, throughput, and cost across commercial and open models
- Design prompts, evaluations, and feedback loops for reliability and quality
- Work with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems
- Ship user facing AI features and own their quality end to end
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, with 1+ year working directly with LLMs
- Strong Python and experience with at least one AI framework (LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy, or raw APIs)
- Experience with at least one vector database (Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, pgvector)
- Prompt engineering and evaluation design experience
- Comfort working with ambiguous, fast moving problems
- Strong written communication

- Experience with inference optimisation or distributed training.
