Role Overview
AKR Infotech is hiring an AI Engineer for a full-time role in Kharadi, Pune, with 4+ years of experience required.
The engineer owns the AI backend end to end, from agent architecture and model integration through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
The role combines AI engineering, backend engineering, and DevOps with responsibility for production systems and cost-versus-quality decisions.
Multi-Agent Architecture
- Design and scale a multi-agent orchestration system with 10 or more specialized agents.
- Implement fan-out and fan-in execution, conditional routing, shared state handling, and graph-based task routing.
- Build domain-specific agents with tailored retrieval, prompts, tools, and fallback strategies.
LLM Integration and Retrieval
- Manage multi-model and multi-provider architectures and select models using cost, latency, and accuracy tradeoffs.
- Build and refine few-shot, structured-reasoning, and domain-tuned prompt systems.
- Build hybrid search pipelines with vector search, keyword search, metadata filtering, optimized chunking, embeddings, indexing, and reranking.
