Role Overview
The AI Engineer will design and deliver highly scalable next-generation AI products within Teradata's AI stack.
The role contributes to product planning, design, execution, and the evolution of Teradata's AI capabilities.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality systems, services, and applications focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and product partners to shape designs and deliver end-to-end features.
- Build and integrate secure, consistent, and maintainable RESTful APIs.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to implement efficient data models and service access patterns.
- Apply and experiment with AI/ML technologies, including agentic AI and large language models.
- Mentor engineers in technical planning, implementation, and best practices.
- Optimize code, design, and infrastructure to resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and investigate production issues.
