Role Overview
iProgrammer Solutions is hiring an AI Engineer to build production-oriented GenAI applications and backend AI services.
The role offers two vacancies and requires 1–3 years of experience.
Work Location and Mode
- The work location is Pune.
- The work mode is work from office.
Key Responsibilities
- Build GenAI applications including chatbots, assistants, recommendation systems, and document intelligence solutions.
- Develop RAG pipelines covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval, reranking, and generation.
- Develop Python backend AI services with FastAPI, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Implement classification, extraction, parsing, structured outputs, guardrails, and safety controls.
- Optimize AI systems for latency, accuracy, reliability, token usage, and scalability.
- Integrate AI workflows with business systems and create evaluation and regression testing assets.
- Collaborate with product, backend, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on Python and backend development experience.
- Experience building LLM applications with commercial or open-source models.

Candidate Profile
- One to three years of experience.
- BE, BTech, MTech, MCA, or equivalent practical experience in computer science, AI/ML, data science, or IT.
- At least one real-world AI or GenAI application involving LLMs, backend integration, RAG, or production deployment.
- Ability to explain implementation details clearly, beyond theoretical AI concepts.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with vLLM, Ollama, Hugging Face Transformers, TensorRT-LLM, or other model-serving frameworks.
- Knowledge of quantization, inference optimization, batching, GPU utilization, or token streaming.
- Experience deploying AI/ML systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with multilingual AI, especially Hinglish or Indian language handling.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, prompt/version management, or AI evaluation frameworks.
- Knowledge of MCP, agentic workflows, tool-based reasoning, or multi-step orchestration.
