AI Developer & Automation Apprentice

We're looking for someone curious about technology, who enjoys solving problems and is excited by the potential of AI.

You may have developed your experience through education, personal projects, online learning, previous employment or simply experimenting with technology in your own time.

We're looking for candidates who:

Have a strong interest in AI, software development and emerging technologies.

Have some programming experience or willingness to develop programming skills with languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, TypeScript or SQL.

Enjoy analysing problems and finding ways to improve processes.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Can work confidently with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Are organised, reliable and detail-oriented.

Are eager to learn and develop new technical skills.

Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Experience with AI tools, coding assistants, workflow automation, APIs, Agile, Jira or the Microsoft technology stack would be beneficial, but is not essential .

Entry requirements:

Level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/A Levels/BTEC etc.)

OR equivalent work experience (typically 2 years in a relevant role)

AND

5 x GCSE’s including English & Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with 30 minutes lunch break)
