AI Content & Data Intern

Interns will work alongside pocstock’s content, production, and data teams to gain real-world experience across the full content-to-dataset pipeline.

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 20 hours per week / June - August

About the Internship

pocstock is seeking curious, creative, and motivated interns interested in learning how modern content moves from creative production into AI-ready datasets.

This internship is designed for recent college graduates and emerging professionals in Newark who want hands-on exposure to media production, AI data workflows, cultural annotation, and creative operations.

Interns will work alongside pocstock’s content, production, and data teams to gain real-world experience across the full content-to-dataset pipeline.

From studio shoots and metadata tagging to dataset organization and delivery preparation, interns will learn how visual media is created, processed, and transformed into structured data for AI systems.

This is a hands-on internship focused on learning, collaboration, and professional development in a fast-growing creative and technology company rooted in Newark.

• How content is captured and prepared for AI and machine learning applications
• The fundamentals of metadata, annotation, and dataset organization
• Studio production workflows including photography, lighting, and shoot logistics
• Cultural intelligence and representation in media and AI systems
• Content quality review and operational workflows
• How creative, production, and technical teams collaborate in a real business environment

• Assist with studio and content production preparation
• Help organize and manage digital assets and production files
• Support image and video review, tagging, and annotation workflows
• Assist with dataset organization and quality assurance tasks
• Support content operations, research, and administrative projects
• Help prepare materials and assets for internal and client-facing projects
• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and learning sessions
• Support community events and activations when needed

• Recent college graduates or emerging professionals based in or near Newark, NJ
