Role Overview
Join AMD’s NBIO team as a seasoned software engineer leading AI and automation innovation.
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain tools that improve post-silicon verification, validation, debug, and program delivery workflows.
Deliver scalable solutions that reduce repetitive work and improve engineering cycle time, quality, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify productivity opportunities involving AI, automation, scripting, data processing, and workflow integration.
- Build tools for log analysis, result summarization, debug triage, issue tracking, reporting, documentation, and status consolidation.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Python and other programming languages.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers on interfaces and backend systems.
- Apply AI/ML frameworks and concepts to software applications.
- Document software solutions, code, and user procedures.
- Partner with design, verification, validation, firmware, and platform stakeholders.
- Create reusable automation assets from manual and fragmented engineering workflows.
- Define success measures and ensure AI outputs are traceable, grounded, and responsibly handled.
