Responsibilities
- Develop and implement agribusiness strategies, operational plans, and commercial initiatives aligned with organizational objectives
- Manage agricultural operations, production planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution activities
- Collaborate with Farming Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to achieve business goals
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends to support business expansion and product diversification
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, distributors, cooperatives, government agencies, and strategic partners
- Monitor KPIs including production output, crop yields, operational efficiency, profitability, sales performance, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction
- Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, cost control, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis
- Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, food safety standards, environmental requirements, sustainability initiatives, and company policies
- Optimize agricultural supply chains through demand planning, procurement strategies, inventory management, and logistics coordination
- Leverage agricultural technologies, precision farming tools, ERP systems, data analytics, and business intelligence platforms to improve performance
- Prepare operational reports, financial analyses, production forecasts, market assessments, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop agribusiness teams while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agribusiness, agricultural operations, food production, supply chain, farm management, or related roles
- At least 2 years of experience managing agricultural operations, agribusiness teams, or commercial farming initiatives (preferred)
- Strong understanding of agribusiness operations, supply chain management, procurement, financial planning, and market development
- Experience with ERP systems, agricultural management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and analytics platforms
- Knowledge of precision agriculture, sustainable farming practices, food safety standards, and environmental regulations (advantageous)
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation, and financial management skills
