Agile Engineer

The Agile Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications, with a primary focus on the Odessa platform and its integrations.

Working within a self-managing agile team, this role ensures reliable delivery, operational stability, and continuous improvement while aligning with business objectives, architectural standards, and security requirements.

Day to day

• Design, configure, and support enterprise applications, including the Odessa platform, using Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
• Translate business, functional, and operational requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, design reviews, and retrospectives.
• Configure, test, deploy, and maintain application components ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.
• Provide production support including incident management, root cause analysis, and preventative remediation.
• Support and troubleshoot API-based integrations between Odessa and upstream/downstream systems.
• Utilize SQL querying to analyze data, validate results, and support troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, risk, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with engineering peers, business stakeholders, architects, and vendors to deliver value.
• Maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen system stability, scalability, and supportability.

• Bachelor’s or college degree (preferred in Engineering, IT, or Operations).
• Experience working within Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting or configuring enterprise or commercial applications.
• Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with API concepts, integrations, and troubleshooting (REST/SOAP preferred).
• Systems and process mapping experience using Visio or other modeling tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL querying for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure fundamentals (compute, integration, security concepts).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with distributed or global IT teams.
• Understanding of secure application development and operational support practices.
• The Agile Engineer is expected to complete mandatory security, compliance, and platform-specific training and continuously develop technical and professional skills aligned with enterprise application support and agile delivery practices.

• Experience supporting the Odessa platform or similar leasing / contract management systems.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Salesforce Administrator experience, including user administration, security configuration, workflows, reports, dashboards, and platform support.
• Experience with SmartCOMM template development, administration, document composition, and customer communications management (CCM) solutions.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and workflow automation solutions using enterprise automation platforms.
• Strong automation mindset with experience identifying, optimizing, and automating business and operational processes.
• Relevant certifications (Agile/Scrum, ITIL, Salesforce Admin, SmartCOMM Administrator/Developer, AA-CARP, Cloud, or Security).

Applicable pay range:

$86,406.00 - $129,610.00

Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications.

Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies.

Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are subject to eligibility.
