You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of Vulnerability Structural Analysis Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:
- Perform numerical vulnerability crash and impact analyses (FEA) for all aircraft programs and Research & Technology projects, such as bird strike and wheel/tyre debris impact analyses on aircraft structures.
- Utilize advanced numerical simulation packages, such as Abaqus/Explicit, 3DX, and HyperWorks.
- Learn to identify and simulate the physics of aircraft structural behavior and develop the engineering judgment required to understand and interpret simulation results.
- Learn about aircraft structures, including their design, means of compliance for certification, and in-service support.
- Have the opportunity to gain experience in other departments like Research, Design, Materials, Structures Test, Aerodynamics and Manufacturing.
Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.
At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Vulnerability Structural Analysis Engineer!
To be a successful applicant, you will need to demonstrate you have:
A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Structures Analysis.
Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
