Role Overview
The role ships customer-facing features on arrivia's travel platform using AI coding agents as everyday development tools.
The engineer independently delivers well-scoped features from implementation through production with moderate autonomy.
The position is based onsite at arrivia's Phoenix headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver features and services for a full-stack travel platform team.
- Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance before merging.
- Refactor and modernize existing services using cloud-native design patterns.
- Consult with senior engineers on architecture decisions and raise risks for team discussion.
- Work under general supervision while delivering features through production.
Candidate Requirements
- Bring 3 to 5 years of full-stack development experience building web applications and services.
- Have at least 1 year of hands-on professional experience using AI coding agents.
- Be proficient in at least two of TypeScript or JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET.
- Have experience with React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular.
- Have built and deployed applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
