After School Program Assistant

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Greet families, children, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage front desk operations, including phone calls, messages, scheduling support, and basic documentation
• Assist with check-in and check-out procedures to ensure child safety
• Prepare materials for therapy sessions and group activities (e.g., organizing supplies, printing materials, setting up activity stations)
• Support activity planning by assisting with age-appropriate, structured after-school activities under staff guidance
• Help maintain organized therapy and activity spaces before and after sessions
• Monitor common areas to help maintain a safe, calm, and structured environment
• Assist with safety protocols as directed (e.g., awareness of emergency procedures, reporting concerns promptly)
• Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative team members
• May support client coverage in the event of a technician call-outs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• RBT Certification (Required)
